Join Friends of Cycling in Elk Grove (FCEG) for a fun, casual, family-friendly bike ride. All are welcome! The 6-mile ride will start and end at the main entrance of Elk Grove High School, with a stop at Dairy Queen along the way. FCEG will purchase Dilly Bars for all participants.This ride, associated with 2025 Let's Ride, Illinois – an event organized by Ride Illinois – will begin at 3:30pm and wrap up by 5pm. Plan to arrive by 3:15pm to sign a waiver and for a quick bike check.
Participant Responsibilities:
1. Sign FCEG waiver at start of ride.
2. Wear a helmet.
3. Bring water, sunscreen, money, spare inner tube and a working bike.
4. Must be able to ride 6 miles
