Boomchikkaboom and Little Trees Forest school is welcoming children of all ages to join us for our Family Rave in the Woods!
Get ready for an exciting morning in a forest school setting filled with music, parachute fun, pom pom activities, bubbles, and much more.
Forest School offers a nature-focused, child-centered approach to inspirational learning. It fosters play, exploration, and carefully managed risk-taking while building confidence and self-esteem through child-led, hands-on experiences in a natural environment. A fully qualified leader from Little Trees Forest School will guide the session.
It’s essential for children to understand the importance of caring for and respecting our planet. Our sessions encourage exploration and learning about wildlife and nature, engaging in adventurous play, critical thinking, and developing life skills.
Enjoy treats by the fire pit!

Access – You access the farm by turning off the A65 at Ready Steady Store. You will see a path down to the river which leads to the farm entrance.
Parking – THERE IS NO PARKING at the farm or in the Ready, Steady Store carpark. If possible, please walk to the farm. If you need to drive, you will find free parking on the streets on the opposite side of the A65. If you or someone in your party has a disability, please contact info@ boomchikkaboom. com and we can discuss access arrangements for you.
On-site
Kirkstall Valley Farm is a working farm with uneven ground and often windy weather. Please come dressed in appropriate clothing and footwear. There is a 5 minute walk across the farm to where our activities are set up.
