Family Open Studio: Mixed Media Collage

Drawing inspiration from our Fall exhibitions, our Family Open Studio programming is all about what makes our world wonderful. From awe-inspiring beauty to optical illusions, our projects are accessible for ages 3 and up and will inspire families to get creative at the gallery and at home, too!

Mix it up with a mixed media collage - look through our fabulous collection of paper, magazines, paint chips and endless scraps from past projects, then glue them all down in a new composition. Mixed media is a great way to use up leftover art supplies and to engage the imagination.    

This program is meant for families to work together on art projects, so all children attending must be accompanied by an adult. Drop in any time between 1-4pm and join us in the Family Studio. While you're here, you can check out our exhibitions and look for treasures on our Take + Make Cart - this cart, located just outside the Family Studio, is full of previously-loved art supplies. Take what you like and leave what you can, we're always accepting donations of art tools and supplies you're not using anymore.
