Attention will be paid to decoration by playing with surface texture and advanced glazing techniques.
About the Instructor: Barbara Taylor is the potter behind Earth Works Pottery. Showcasing her versatility Taylor has studied multiple art media at Sheridan College, Humber College and The Oakville Art Society. Through her training, she discovered her love of pottery and clay. Taylor’s unique approach to her work has quickly gained her recognition in the local art community and is an active member of the Burlington Potters Guild since 1989. Using old technology, Earth Works Pottery produces functional ceramic pieces for the modern kitchen.
