Family Nature Preserve Walk

Start your weekend with us and enjoy a morning guided walk at Wakeem/Teschner Nature Preserve! We will enjoy the views and have activities for kids to further our experience in appreciating nature!

At this event we would like to involve everyone in the importance of taking care and supporting our open spaces by Picking a rock and finding a Spot! We invite everyone to make an impact in lining our paths with any nice rocks they may find along the way and contribute to our walkways.

We will also be making seed bombs! to help spread native seeds throughout the nature preserve and promote growth! There will also be a small bingo and word search puzzle for kids to solve and earn a cool sticker at the end!

• All materials/gloves will be provided
• Bring water to stay hydrated! We will also provide extra water and small snacks if needed
• Our goal is to finish by 9 to stay out of the heat but incase time is needed we show for 9:30
