Be Like Bigfoot by leaving no trace! Families will learn about taking care of our precious wild places, this month at Family Nature Night! Together, we will walk through a timeline to see how long it takes for trash to break down. The group will head outside to track down the 7 principles of Leave No Trace along the trails in Kenue Park and look for any evidence of Bigfoot along the way. Later, get crafty with brainstorming ideas of how we can be more like Bigfoot in leaving little to no trace behind when visiting wild areas. Together, families will add their clever ideas to a large collage to display in the Nature Center! Children will also get their own booklet to take home with them as a reminder to take care of outdoor spaces.
