Family Mystic:
More than a band- they represent a transformative experience that redefines healing through the use of song, dance, and emotional connection. Based in Portland, OR, this collective of visionaries combines elements of classic funk, soul, '60s/'70s psychedelia, and progressive jazz fusion, all enhanced by their angelic four-part vocal harmonies. They create a genre-defying experience that invites listeners to explore the essence of humanity through the sanctity and celebration of music.

Marcelo’s distinctive guitar riffs provide a foundation of solace and joy, complemented by Ian Love’s ethereal falsetto that evokes deep emotional responses. The rhythmic foundation is anchored by brothers Matthew and Tommy Serino, whose life-long bond energizes every performance. The result of these brothers thoughtfully expressing their craft with aligned intentions, invites listeners to feel belonging in the music itself. Recently, they welcomed a fifth member, Todd! who adds dynamic rhythm and texture to their artistic exploration as a second drummer.
With multiple successful West Coast tours under their belt, Family Mystic has shared stages with renowned acts like Holly Bowling, Yaima, Jason Hann (String Cheese Incident), Mose, MaMuse, Diggin Dirt, March Fourth Marching Band, Elias Alexander (Ramblxr), Kendall Street Company, and Pink Talking Fish. They’ve made a significant impact on the festival and venue circuit in the PNW—from regularly drawing crowds of 2-300 people at well known and loved stages to their renowned pop up shows in parks and public spaces. They find themselves cultivating a vibrant community of music lovers, mystics, pranksters, and families from all walks of life.

Color Red Artist Object Heavy is Humboldt County’s hardest hitting soul sensation. The band is led by the nuanced and powerful voice of Richard Love, alongside explosive, tasteful keyboardist Brian Swislow, masterful guitarist Leo Plummer, and the man holding down the low end, bassist Ian Taylor. You might find rock steady drummer Dan Weiss in the loop. Fresh off the release of their new record, 'Love & Gravity' (Produced by Kelly Finnigan of Monophonics), and 5th win as North Coast Journal’s “Best Original Band Of Humboldt” in the past 7 years nominated, they have garnered stellar reviews from an international audience and were promoted as a featured artist on Apple Music's Soul and RnB carousel.
