Family Math: Cooking Counts

Get ready to stir up some math fun!

The Early Learning Coalition of Sarasota County is bringing Cooking Counts, a free WEDU PBS Family + Math workshop, to Sarasota in partnership with Florida Blue.

Designed for children ages 3–6, this interactive, play-based workshop introduces early math concepts through a fun pretend cooking activity. Children and families will practice skills like counting, measuring, sorting, and problem-solving in a hands-on way that feels like play.

Registration is required to attend. This event is for registered ticketholders only, and one ticket must be reserved for each adult and child attending.

Please note: Cooking Counts is designed specifically for children ages 3–6. Due to space, activity materials, and workshop structure, children outside this age range cannot participate, and child care will not be provided.
