Family Kite Day in Boerne, TX

This is a small flying field. I flew at this event last year and only flew my 16m Trilobite. Lots of kids flew their small kites. I staked my kite and walked around helping the families to get their kites flying steady. Fortunately, I had a bunch of tail tape with me (surveying tape from Lowe's). Bring your own kite or enjoy one of the supplied kites while supplies last.

This event is separate from typical spring kite festivals (many of which are in March–April) but offers a late-season outdoor kite-flying day that’s great for families and flyers of all ages.
