ATTENTION: ALL BOOKBAGS WILL BE DISTRIBUTED ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVED BASIS. WE ENCOURAGE EVERYONE TO COME EARLY, SO YOU CAN GET A BOOK BAG, BECAUSE EACH YEAR WE HAND THEM ALL OUT. THIS YEAR WE WILL DISTRIBUTE TO THOSE WHO REGISTERED FIRST FROM 10AM UNTIL 11AM (WHILE SUPPLIES LAST) AND AT 11:30 AM, WE WILL GIVE ALL UNCLAIMED BAGS AWAY. (LIMIT 3 PER FAMILY PLEASE)

You are cordially invited to join the LDAC Foundation to help us celebrate families in Gwinnett County and our children returning back for yet another successful school year in the Gwinnett County Public School System.

Here are some highlights from previous year's events:

Last year, Gwinnett County Public Schools have received the prestigious CS100 Award. The honor, presented by CSisElementary and CSforAll, recognizes elementary schools that commit to teaching computer science to every K-5 student. GCPS accounted for 21 of the 160 schools recognized at the CSK5 Summit! However, there are still students who are less fortunate...

Our education system is phenomenal. Right here in Gwinnett County, we not only have some of the top schools in the nation, I.E., North Gwinnett High School (458) Brookwood (869) Grayson (46) and Collins Hill (56) but for consecutive years in a row, the top-rated high school in the state is right here in Gwinnett County. Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science and Technology is also one of the top 10 schools in the nation. We believe that is something to celebrate, so we are sending a shout out to students of all ages to join us on the Lawrenceville Lawn on July 20th, 2024, at 10AM for this awesome back to school event. We are excited to bring to you a fun-filled family day sponsored by The LDAC Foundation, Houghton, Mifflin, and Harcourt, Purpose Finders, and in Partnership with the City of Lawrenceville. This is an event you do not want to miss. Attractions and activities include:

• Free Stuffed Bookbags
• Face Painting
• Lawn Games
• The Children's Train (Back By Popular Demand)
• A College Fair
• Food Trucks & Vendors
• And Music in the Park...
