The weekend kicks off with Family Fishing Night on April 17 from 5:30–7:00pm, a free event just for kids ages 4–10 (no fishing for anyone over 10). Young anglers may keep up to two fish, enjoy door prizes, and receive help from volunteers learning how to cast.
A limited number of free fishing rods and bait will be available for children who register in advance (must arrive on time or rods may be given away onsite), along with a fish cleaning station.
