Join Brackenridge Park Conservancy for our annual Family Fishing Day. More than 600 channel catfish will be released in the San Antonio River for junior anglers, their parents, and avid fishermen to enjoy. Poles and lessons will be provided. No license necessary. A special thank you to everyone who makes this event possible: Texas Parks & Wildlife, Fin Addict Angler Foundation, City of San Antonio Parks & Recreation, and San Antonio River Foundation.
A contest will be held for attendees under 16. Fishing poles will be awarded to the first fish caught and the biggest fish caught.
