A Day to Connect, Recharge, & Be Supported

First responders spend their days showing up for everyone else. On September 26, we’re creating a day that shows up for them and for the families who stand beside them.
This isn’t a “wellness seminar” or another task on a rare day off. It’s a family farm day built around connection, comfort, and the simple things that help first responders put down some of what they carry, in whatever way feels right to them. Twenty-six acres of green fields and rolling hills...a space our therapy horses call home, kids exploring the farm, good food, easy conversations, activities, and a time to just be together.
Whether you serve in law enforcement, fire and rescue, EMS, dispatch, corrections, hospital trauma care, or another first responder role, this day is designed to offer a welcoming place to step away from the demands of the job, connect with others who understand, and explore optional resources that support mental health and overall well‑being. A day designed to make conversations easier and help stigma fade.
Families are encouraged to attend, because wellness doesn’t begin and end with one person. It lives in the people who support them every day, and in the moments they share together.
