As daylight fades and the forest settles into dusk, Fullersburg Woods comes alive with a whole new chorus of sounds. Join us for a family-friendly evening hike as we tune in to the rustles, chirps, hoots, and calls that fill the preserve after hours.
We’ll explore the trails together, listening for nighttime birds, small mammals, insects, and other wildlife that become active as the sun goes down. Along the way, you’ll learn how animals communicate, why certain species are most active at dusk, and how to identify common evening sounds.
It’s a peaceful, engaging way for families to connect with nature and discover the hidden soundtrack of the forest. Perfect for curious kids and nature-loving adults alike!
Come experience the magic of the evening with us.
All ages; under 13 with an adult.
$10 per family.
Register on ActiveNet or at 630-850-8112.
