Family Employment Awareness Training (FEAT) - Salina

Check-in starts at 8:30 a.m.

Training will start promptly at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 3:30 p.m. on both days.

FEAT is for Kansas families, youth/young adults, and individuals who serve or support Kansas youth and young adults with disabilities.

Friday, March 7, 2025 - Part 1: Building the Dream of Employment

• Customized jobs - Outside the Box job possibilities
• Transition services in the IEP to support employment
• Meet individuals who have disabilities who are successfully employed
• Youth breakout session

Saturday, March 8, 2025 - Part 2: Identifying and Accessing Employment Resources

• Services, programs, and information to support gaining and maintaining employment
• Antidiscrimination laws
• Visit with state and local adult service agencies that support individuals with disabilities
• Youth breakout session
