Industrialization in the early 19th century lead to mass-produced musket cartridges, which allowed the Mexican soldiers to fire faster than the Texian soldiers. Soldiers would carry these cartridges to battle in their own cartridge boxes. Learn more about 19th century innovations in ammunition and make your own cartridge box to take home.
When: Saturday, March 1; drop in between 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Where: San Jacinto Museum
Age Range: Kids 5+; younger children are welcome, but will need to have an adult to help.
