Join us June 6 for Family Day: Aloha Vaqueros Edition 🤠🌺—a fun, family-friendly kickoff to summer celebrating our new traveling exhibit! Explore the rich traditions of Hawaiian paniolo and Mexican vaquero culture through hands-on activities, live performances, interactive experiences, community partner stations, local food trucks, and more. This year’s “Aloha Vaqueros Edition” will feature performances by Bailadores Caballeros and Mosaico Folklorico and Las Angelitas Unidas, interactive dance lessons, Vaqueros crafts with CHISPA, a Mariachi activity table, story times with the Library, stick horse races, games, and more family fun throughout the day.
It’s the perfect day for families to create, connect, and celebrate culture, history, and community together.
