Family Crafting Reservations (Mid City)

Adults and kids craft together using Rediscover's famous collection of Creative Reuse Materials, everything from popsicle sticks to fabric scraps to industrial offcuts. All materials curated for safety and creative potential. Work with Rediscover's Facilitators and Teaching Artists to learn new techniques and explore your own creativity. Come with a project in mind, follow one of our prompts, or just let your mind and hands explore.

This activity is for all ages 4+, with prompts and toolsets for children, teens, and adults. Learn to use hot glue, specialized scissors, needle and thread, kraft tape, cardboard cutters, snips, plier-grip staplers, and much more.

Children younger than 4 can be in the makerspace with direct supervision from an adult, using Rediscover's Creative Reuse Materials for loose parts play or reading picture books in the Chill Zone.
