Have you heard the news?? We are funding FREE summer camps for youth. That's right. We said FREE. Join us on March 22, from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. for a “one-stop shop” experience to identify all sorts of summer enrichment camps for children and youth. Many of the programs participating are funded by CSC Leon and will be FREE for families. From STEM and Literacy camps to Sports and the Arts. There is truly something for every one. Come out for family-friendly games, giveaways, summer camp scholarships, free food and music.

You must be a Leon County resident to qualify for the free camps. Priority will be given to families who live in specific neighborhoods. Slots are available on a first come, first served basis and may require a small registration fee to hold your spot. Families who receive the free summer camps must agree to participate in their chosen camp all summer.
Studies show that many working families don't have access to high-quality, engaging summer programming, leaving youth without a safe place to go or thrive while parents work. This can result in the "summer slide," where students lose some of the academic gains made during the school year. CSC Leon wants to help change that. Families are encouraged to come and sign up for summer camps, jobs, volunteer opportunities, and other activities.
