About
Get out on the water with family & friends! Bring the kids, snacks, and drinks to the launch for a fun summer day with Kula SUP at Bay Venture Outfitters! This class begins with an on-land Intro to Paddleboarding lesson. We'll go over how to launch, stand up, turns, techniques, and the safest way to paddle with your little. Then a certified SUP instructor helps you launch for a guided paddle out on Stony Run Creek. If we get a nice day, we'll venture out to the North East River. Options for relay races, water gun fights, and swimming! You'll have 1-hour of Instruction time followed by 30 min. of free time to explore. Kids Ages 2-8 can ride on their parent's board for no extra charge. Kids 9+ can ride on their own board if they feel ready. There are picnic tables by the water & lots of restaurants/shops to walk to from the launch on Main Street in North East, MD.

*If bringing your own board, you are required by law to bring your own USCG approved life jacket, safety whistle, and SUP leash.

*Kids 12 and under are REQUIRED to wear their OWN USCG Approved lifejacket at all times.
*Ages- Littles ages 2-8 can ride on their parent's board for no extra charge. Kids 9+ can ride on their own board. Ages 12 & under MUST wear their own USCG approved lifejacket at all times!
*Beginners Welcome!
*Or Check out our Intro to SUP class here in North East at 8am on Saturdays or 6pm on Wednesdays for more instruction to learn how to SUP!
*Please arrive 20 min. before class. We launch at 11:30am.
*Parents paddling MUST be able to swim. Kids required to wear their PFD
*Online registration closes 6 hours before class time.
