Welcome to one of the largest free nautical music and song festivals in Europe returning on the 14th-16th June 2024 for its 20th year!
Falmouth has a proud and long history as a first safe port of call for deepwater sailing ships. It was here that sailors filled our waterside alehouses with their songs and it is here that those shanties and stories are kept alive to this day.
With over seventy groups, twenty plus venues and three large main outdoor stages, this notable festival is spread across the whole of Falmouth.
The shoreside sea shanty festival coincides with the Falmouth classics, a three-day sailing regatta bringing the town and sailing scene closer together.
