On Thursday 27th November, the streets of Falmouth will fill with festive fun at this years Christmas Lights Switch-on event!Kickstarting the countdown to Christmas, the grand switch-on is one of the most anticipated events in the Christmas calendar and marks the official start to the festive season in Falmouth.
Hundreds of people will gather in town to witness the community nominee illuminate Falmouth and sing along with local schoolchildren as they perform carols and Christmas songs, following a colourful parade through town.
With performances from Sing Choir and The Oggymen on either side of the 7pm switch-on, this event promises to be an unforgettable evening filled with festive cheer.
Nominations for a worthy person or group to illuminate the town’s dazzling display are open now and will close at midday on Wednesday 19th November.
