Falmouth Sprint Triathlon

The Falmouth Sprint Triathlon is a rite of summer on Cape Cod, drawing athletes from across the nation and beyond (40+ states, 7 countries represented last year!). This fast and scenic race features a warm saltwater swim, a stunning bike course climbing to Nobska Point Light, and a flat 5K run along the picturesque shores of Vineyard Sound.
Celebrating over 30 years of racing history, Falmouth has been recognized as one of the top 5 beginner-friendly races worldwide by the Triathlete’s Choice Awards. Whether you’re a first-timer or a seasoned triathlete, this event promises a festive yet competitive atmosphere.
Course Details:
• Swim: ⅓ mile in calm, protected waters (typically wetsuit legal)
• Bike: 8.5 miles, including a ride through the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute
• Run: 3.1 miles on a fast, level course along Vineyard Sound
