Keep warm and cosy with this autumnal themed buttercream class where students will decorate a 6" cake with buttercream using a variety of piping tips and techniques in their choice of buttercream colour. Students will learn through demonstration and instruction and be guided through each decorative design at a comfortable pace and be given class notes enabling them to replicate the techniques learnt in class.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
🍁 Stack and fill cake with buttercream and crumb coat
🍁 , filling, and holding a piping bag (including the prevention of air-bubbles)
🍁 Students will choose their colour scheme and colour pre-made buttercream
🍁 Tips and tricks on how to achieve white buttercream
🍁 The use of a turntable and other tools to assist decorating
🍁 Preparing the cake for buttercream
🍁 Creating basic chocolate decorations using pre-made chocolate drip and silicone moulds
🍁 Alternating added-on decoration and piping to a cake in a cohesive manner
🍁 The application of glitter and sprinkles
