Design your story—boldly. VAL is a hands-on visual arts class that explores scenic art, costume and prop design, puppetry, and visual storytelling through a theatrical lens.
Guided by practicing artist-educators, each week gives students the opportunity to imagine, sketch, build, paint, and create with purpose. Emphasis is placed on process over perfection, and every project connects to performance themes or story-driven design.
✨ This is not a fine art class — it’s a space where imagination meets function, and creative thinking is the real star.
🫧 The term ends with a simple in-person or recorded “share-case” featuring select works and student reflections.
