Fall Plein Air Paint Out

The Fall Paint Out begins Thursday, September 24, 2026, with artists checking in at the Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art at Ligonier Valley at 9:00 am. For three days, artists will traverse Ligonier Valley, looking to capture the light, color and life of the valley. A complimentary Artists Dinner will be offered to participating artists on Friday, September 25, 2026 at 5:00 pm. On Sunday, September 27, 2026, artists will submit two completed paintings from their three days of painting by bringing them to the museum between 9:00 am – 10:00 am. These paintings will be displayed in the Wet Sale Exhibition inside the museum during the Plein Air Art Festival.
