Looking to add beautiful, wildlife-friendly plants to your landscape? Join us for the Virginia Living Museum’s Fall Native Plant Sale, open to the public!
Shop an extensive selection of native plants, including Butterfly W**d, Swamp Milkweed, Purple Coneflower, Blazing Star, Blue Lobelia, Little Bluestem, Pink Muhly Grass, Flowering Dogwood, Sweetbay Magnolia, Redbud, Beautyberry, Serviceberry, and many more carefully chosen to support birds, butterflies, bees, and other local wildlife. Whether you’re starting a pollinator garden, expanding your landscape, or simply looking for plants that thrive in Virginia, you’ll find expert-selected options for gardens of every size.

This year’s sale also features:
A wide variety of new native cultivars (nativars) available for the first time
A selection of unique and interesting houseplants
Knowledgeable staff and volunteers available to help you choose the right plants for your space
The sale will be held behind the scenes in the Museum’s plant nursery, offering a unique opportunity to shop directly from the source.

Admission to the plant sale is free, and everyone is welcome. No Museum admission is required to shop the sale.
VLM Members: Don’t forget your exclusive Member Preview on Friday, September 18, from 4:00–6:00 PM, where members enjoy first access to the best selection before the public sale begins.
