Join us seasonally for a fun interactive lunch program. Each season will be a different lunch and program.
For the fall program, Bob Mulvihill will be here from the Pittsburgh National Aviary to present … My Career in Ornithology - Throughout my career I have been attracted to a wide variety of research questions, not infrequently as a result of one or two quirky or eyebrow-raising observations made by me or told to me by others. I have investigated runt eggs in bluebirds, nest sharing by robins and catbirds, and some very unexpected natural hybrids! I will review my own ornithological peregrinations over the last 40+ years, showing examples of when and how unexpected observations have led me to some interesting and exciting discoveries of interest to birders and ornithologists alike!
