Birds are amazing animals with their gorgeous plumage, beautiful songs, and the gift of flight. Florida is blessed with nearly 550 species of birds! Join CHEC and Michael Weisensee in exploring the outdoors in search of these feathered wonders.
During each 5-week course (Fall 2024, Winter 2025, & Spring 2025), the fundamentals of birding will be covered. Each course will begin with a classroom session at Cedar Point Environmental Park (from 10:00 am - 12:30 pm) and continue with field trip sessions (from 8:00 am - 10:30 am) in various locations.
Program fee is $95 per person, pre-paid. Registration is limited to 7 adult participants at each course.
Fall Course Dates and Times:
Classroom Session- November 9 (10 am - 12:30 pm);
Field Trips- November 16, 23, 30 & December 7 from 8:00 am - 10:30 am.
