Fall Into Reading Festival for Ages 3-5

On October 3 (rain date October 4), come celebrate the season at the University of Maine at Augusta with an afternoon of stories, costumes, treats, and fall family fun at the Fall Into Reading Festival, designed especially for children ages 3–5, accompanied by their grown-ups.

Families will enjoy:

• A special viewing of Spookley the Square Pumpkin in the Farber Forum
• A children's parade led by our grand marshal, UMS K-9 “Bear” with a special appearance by Augustus Moose and others who will join the little walk
• Trunk-or-Treat fun
• A story walk to enjoy together on the stroll back to the parking lot

Children are encouraged to come dressed as a favorite book character, in costume, or in festive fall colors—but dressing up is completely optional.

Come ready to read, parade, celebrate, enjoy festive treats and make some wonderful fall memories together!

Event capacity is limited to 150 children. When reserving tickets, please select one ticket for each child ages 3–5 who will attend. Accompanying grown-ups do not need a ticket and should not be included in your ticket count.
