The theme is Stone House on the Prairie…
Laura Ingalls Wilder meets the Mahaffies! In addition to enjoying our regular living history programming, students will participate in Little House on the Prairie-inspired activities. Families can choose either the morning or afternoon session to explore the farm and activities at their own pace.
Morning session: 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
Afternoon session: 1 p.m.-3 p.m.
Living History Activities:
-Stagecoach rides
-Blacksmith and cookstove demonstrations
-House tours
-Woodworking
-Crafts
-1860s games
-And much more!
Cost: $7 per student (ages 5–17). Ages 4 and under are free.
One adult per paid student is admitted free. Additional adults are $7.
Registration opens August 1. Tickets can be purchased at Mahaffie.org or by calling 913-971-5111.
