Fall Grade Level

Chess season is underway!
Our next tournament is the Fall Grade Level Tournament on Saturday, November 7th. Competitors play against kids in their own grade level (unless you choose to play "up") -or- if we are required to combine grades into a single section.
For example, sometimes we don't get enough Kindergartners to complete a whole section, so we combine K with 1st grade. Nonetheless, awards are still based on the other kids in your own grade, so results of Kindergarten players are compared to other Kindergarten players to determine who has earned a trophy.
Awards are also awarded to teams; we combine your top three players at a single grade level to determine team scores.
We'll be at the Diamondhead Education Center in Burnsville.
