About this Event
Join us as we tour Prairie Crossing Charter School (PCCS). PCCS teaches students to be natural leaders through incorporating Education for Sustainability into their curriculum, which features project and problem based learning rooted in place. This tour will feature our LEED certified classroom buildings, including the new net zero fine arts building, as well as our gardens and outdoor learning spaces. We will discuss PCCS's unique teaching and learning experiences as well.
Please arrive about 10-15 min. early for parking and check in.
Address: 1531 Jones Point Rd, Grayslake, IL 60030.
Coming from Rt. 45, go to the second parking lot on the left. Park in lot, any place, but the middle section will be best if available.
Check in the Front office of the Kennicott building, which is west of the parking lot. There is a security check-in system. Please bring your drivers' license or other state issued ID.
Rain or shine, dress accordingly.
