Fall Field Day at Cannonsburgh Village

Experience daily life in the past through period crafts, demonstrations, games and hands-on activities when you visit Cannonsburgh Village’s Fall Field Day. The Fall Field Day will give a glimpse into rural pioneer life through hands-on activities for students and adults alike. Activities such as clothes washing, butter churning, horseshoes, and dress-up will be explored. Focus will be on learning to appreciate the work and fruits of harvest. Artisans and history demonstrators will be on the grounds to share their crafts and talents. Other activities scheduled for the event are an “I Spy” of the village, crafts, games and building tours. Reservations are being accepted to this fall educational field day, which is open to public, private, and home school groups of ten people of more. Admission is $5.00 per person for students and adults. Reservations required to Mary Beth Nevills by email to [email protected]. For all ages.
