West East Yoga strives to provide the very best in traditional yoga in its purest form. Based in St. Louis, Missouri, and registered with Yoga Alliance, West East Yoga is the oldest and among the most affordable training schools in the region.

Jaime Sanchez, founder of West East Yoga, started practicing yoga at the age of eight in Venezuela and became a yoga teacher in 1967. Certified at the 500 E-RYT level, recognized by Yoga Alliance, he has taught yoga at Saint Louis University and Christian Hospital for many years. He is also educated in the Solar, Iyengar, and Sivananda methods as well as yoga philosophy and Sanskrit.
