Fall Dahlia Care with the Portland Dahlia Society at Division

Join members of the Portland Dahlia Society to learn how to care for your dahlia plants so they survive the cold winter months. The presentation will cover digging and storing the tubers away for the winter, as well as how we identify new tubers prior to storing, what the current favored storage mediums are, and how to treat tubers with proven antifungal products. The class will also include demonstrations of dividing tubers, including identifying eyes and what to look for when dividing.

***All classes this fall at Division will be held in our greenhouse Hoop House 2, which is located out in the yard of the nursery, near the trees and small fruits. It is a large greenhouse that functions as a covered outdoor area. If the weather cold, we will have heaters going, but please remember to dress so that you are comfortable during the presentation.***
