General information for Queer Climb Nights hosted by Queer Mountaineers:

Queer Mountaineers has built relationships with a variety of climbing gyms (bouldering and top rope) throughout the Pacific Northwest to bring the LGBTQIA+ community together and create a safe and welcoming space for participants to meet new people and make lasting connections. This event is beginner friendly!

Event Activities:

1. Register/Check-In at gym desk and mention you are there for the queer climb night for the discounted rate.
2. Stop at the Queer Mountaineers table to meet your hosts, get a name tag and wristband.
3. Quick Meet & Greet and group photo.
4. Climb On!

Gear:

• Harness and Shoe rentals are included with the event day pass fee. If you are using your own gear, please refer to the gym website for any gear requirements or guidelines.

General Information:

• There will be a quick meet and greet at the beginning of every event to meet your fellow queer climbers.
• If you are a first-time climber or participant, please notify your host to help identify experienced climbing and/or belay partners.
• Participants must adhere to all gym rules.
• First time at the gym and want to maximize your time? Check out the gym website to complete any required waivers beforehand. If you are an experienced belayer, arrive a few minutes early to take your belay test prior to the start of the event.
