Hey everybody! Get ready for the Fall Concert by the Spirit of Independence Band!
On the program will be The Imperial March from Star Wars, March of the Women Marines by Saverino, a trombone feature, a Camille Saint-Saens piece entitled Marche Militaire Francaise, the folk song My Old Kentucky Home, and a beautiful piece by Andrew Glover called God Shed His Grace On Thee.
We hope you can join us for the concert, which is free and open to the public and is scheduled for Sunday, Nov 1, 2026 at 7:00 pm at the Truman Memorial Building. (416 W Maple) The band is under the direction of Jane Hicklin and assistant director, Brent Edmunds.
