Experience a USATF Certified Course (IL6002NM) with rolling terrain along the Arboretum’s East Side, enjoying the crisp autumn air under a canopy of beautiful trees. Perfect for participants of all fitness levels.
After the race, participants and spectators are invited to attend a postrace party with live music, food trucks and a complimentary alcoholic or nonalcoholic beverage, and then spend the rest of the day exploring the Arboretum.
ON-SITE 5K REGISTRATION
All race participants must register online in advance of race day.
Participants in the on-site race can register early and save on the cost of registration. Costs are lowest from Thursday, Aug. 1 through Tuesday, Sept. 17; prices will rise on Wednesday, Sept. 18, and again on Friday, Oct. 25.

VIRTUAL 5K REGISTRATION
Participate in the Fall Color 5K Run and Walk virtually by completing the race distance at any location and date.
Registration costs for virtual 5K participants remain the same throughout the registration period.

The Fall Color 5K Run and Walk wraps up the Fall Color Festival, a series of one-of-a-kind seasonal events at The Morton Arboretum.
