Meet by the Splash Pad
Join Pelican Park Naturalist Alex Landry for a guided bird walk at Fontainebleau State Park. All experience levels are welcome! Discover how to spot and identify birds while exploring the park’s diverse habitats. This program is free; there is a $3 fee to enter Fontainebleau State Park.

Vortex Optics binoculars are available for participants thanks to a generous donation from Sport Optics! Sunscreen, water, hiking shoes, and a hat are recommended for the field trip.
Accessibility:
The field trip will take place on flat ground covered in grass or hard packed mud as well as a sandy beach. Fontainebleau State Park has an all-terrain wheelchair available to rent on a first come, first serve basis. Restrooms are accessible. The parking lot is paved with designated handicap spots. Please don't hesitate to reach out with any accessibility concerns you may have. We are happy to accommodate you to the best of our ability!
