Watercolour Explorations with Lawrence Bowhay 6-Week Introductory Course for Adults (16+)

Discover the luminous beauty and expressive qualities of watercolor in this 6-week introductory course. Through a combination of technical exercises and small-scale works, students will develop foundational skills while exploring colour washes, layering, wet-on-wet, dry brush techniques, density, and a variety of painting surfaces—from traditional watercolor paper to Mylar. This course offers a balance between guided technique and personal expression. Participants are encouraged to bring reference materials from their own lives, working toward vibrant landscapes, still lifes, and abstract pieces.
