Fall 2026 Clean Sweep Mattress/Box Spring Only Recycling Event!

We are excited to announce important updates to the El Paso County Mattress Recycling Program for 2026! This year, the program has been redesigned to make recycling easier, more accessible, and more efficient for households in El Paso and Teller Counties.

Key Changes and Program Details Read Carefully:

• FREE vouchers will be provided by El Paso County Environmental Division for mattress and box spring recycling.
• Registration is required. (Being on the email notification list is NOT automatic registration for the event. All interested persons must sign up for a spot through this page or by the contact info listed below.)
• Participation is limited. Early registration is encouraged to secure your voucher.
• Limit of four [4] pieces per voucher. No exceptions; additional items must be paid for directly by the participant.
• Proof of El Paso or Teller County residency is required at drop-off. (ID, lease, utility bill, bank statement, etc.)
• One voucher per household per year. Duplicate registrations will be removed.
• Eventbrite tickets are NOT valid. Urban Recycling will only accept participants on the approved list.
• Valid weekdays ONLY: Tuesday, September 8, 2026 – Friday, October 9, 2026.
• Drop-off location: Urban Recycling (3341 N Cascade Ave. Colorado Springs, 80907), Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–4:00 PM only.
• Program is for households only; business waste is not accepted.
