Fake News and Misinformation - Helping Young People Check the Facts

This evening event will explore the issues around young people accessing and verifying news and information n an increasing complex and manipulated media environment.

The topics covered will include media literacy, fact-checking, the role of social media in social and democratic life, and how best to protect young people from mis- and dis-information while retaining freedom of choice.
