Some AI systems have already begun modifying their own code to enhance functionality, pushing the boundaries of control and accountability. Meanwhile, deepfake scams are becoming increasingly sophisticated, with AI-generated voices being used to manipulate schools and families.
As AI rapidly evolves, the challenge lies in balancing progress with safeguards to protect communities and preserve truth in an AI-driven world. Stefan will examine AI's societal impact, present case studies of real risks, and explore practical solutions—ranging from ethical AI development and policy interventions to personal and institutional safeguards. Grounded in a Christian, biblical perspective, he will offer critical insights on faith's role in navigating these emerging technologies responsibly.
