Plan to join us for this special service on Sunday, February 22, with missionaries Lucas and Carol Neves from Argentina!
The Neves family has been deeply involved in ministry administration for several years. Lucas is the South America Region Finance Coordinator, collaborating with regional ministry coordinators to ensure that projects are well-supported and accountable. Carol is the Regional Secretary, overseeing jurisdictional matters in 10 countries. Both are Brazilians who were sent as missionaries at a young age.
In September 2018, the couple married and moved to Peru, where they served as missionaries for three years before returning to Argentina, where they currently serve at the Regional Ministry Center.
The Neves are passionate about mentoring the next generation. Both hold degrees in Theology from Nazarene Seminaries. Lucas previously served as president of the NYI at his local church and continues mentoring young men through spiritual formation and discipleship. Carol holds a master's degree in Organizational Leadership from Trevecca Nazarene University and is eager to use her expertise to train district secretaries and superintendents on various administrative matters.
Together, they are committed to using their gifts to serve God and His Church, sharing the Gospel, and witnessing Jesus Christ's transformative power wherever He leads them.
WHAT IS FAITH PROMISE?
Faith Promise is a time to commit to supporting the World Evangelism Fund, which is the foundation of work of the Church of the Nazarene around the world. WEF enables us to enter new countries and send missionaries who begin sharing the Gospel with the people.
On Sunday, February 22, you will receive a pledge (promise) card to fill out with the amount that you feel God would want you to give this year to WEF. This is a promise only between you and God! Please be praying about this giving opportunity which will help tell the world about Jesus!
