About this Session

J.D. mentioned how some people are wary of working with Christian businesses because those businesses don’t often have the best service or level of excellence. In what ways have you seen this idea to be true or untrue? How are you striving to lead or grow your business in a way that proves this idea to be wrong?

J.D. discussed how our quality of work should reflect the fact that we are working hard to please the Lord. Why is it so crucial for Christians to do excellent work in their field? In what ways does our quality of work have a positive or negative impact on the unbelievers that surround us?

As entrepreneurs, it’s easy to want to work hard for recognition by others. But as J.D. stated, our lives ought to be lived in a way where people ask about our motivations. In what ways can working for the Lord have an impact on our desire to be recognized and praised by others? What could working for others’ recognition do to our example as a Christian?

About the Course
One hour a month for 8 months you will connect with a small group of like-minded entrepreneurs to walk through the Faith Driven Entrepreneur Study and discuss what it means to embrace your call to create and fulfill God’s purpose for your life and work. The study features video stories of real-life entrepreneurs. It goes deep into the Marks of a Faith Driven Entrepreneur with Christian entrepreneur Henry Kaestner and author and pastor JD Greear. Stepping into the entrepreneurial venture God has drawn you to requires faith and a group of allies who have your back. Together, find out what it looks like to take a leap, trust God along the way, and let your faith lead your business.

Prof. Aleks Farseev is a father of three, a Christian, and a well-recognized figure in both entrepreneurship and academia. Renowned as a leading researcher and international keynote speaker, he is the driving force behind SOMIN, an AI-powered marketing campaign strategy platform built for brand strategists and agency planners. Beyond leading the business, Aleks also serves as a Research Professor, where he shares his expertise in digital marketing, large language models, and AI technology. He has also been a mentor at the DMV Redemptive Labs Christian Accelerator and an active leader in Singapore’s faith-driven entrepreneurship community.
