Faith Based Youth Work & Safeguarding
About this Event
An opportunity to consider how the new Keeping Children Safe in Education coming into force 1st September and including - prejudice-based harm, including racism, faith-based prejudice and other forms of discrimination, impacts on our work.
This day is open to all practitioners who want to develop their knowledge of Faith Based Youth Work and safeguarding.
Through workshops the day will explore
- spiritual and ritual abuse
- Financial exploitation
- Religious bullying – hate crime
There will also be time to catch up on the National Youth Strategy and with each other.
