FairHeat Annual Conference: Networking Run

Pre-Conference Run

We’ll be organising a relaxed pre-conference run starting from the Institute of Engineering and Technology (our conference venue). The route will take us up The Mall towards Buckingham Palace, loop around St James’s Park, and back to the venue, approximately 4–5km in total.

All abilities are welcome, it’s a great way to start the day, get some fresh air, and connect with others ahead of the conference.

There are two showers available at the venue. These can be used after the run but must be pre-booked, and spaces are limited to two spots which will be allocated on a first come first served basis. If you’d like to use a shower (particularly if you’re not staying locally), please let me know as soon as possible to reserve a slot Towels and toileteries must be prodied by the person using the facilities. By taking part, you confirm that you are in appropriate health and fitness to participate and that you are responsible for ensuring you have suitable footwear, clothing, and any other necessary equipment. Participants are also responsible for bringing their own food and drink as required.

This is an informal, voluntary activity and is not organised as a supervised or controlled sporting event.
