Fairer Futures Partnership Research
About this Event
In October 2025, DVVA commissioned independent research, delivered by Corcoran Psychology Ltd and MO Psychology and Development Ltd, to explore how Dundee’s Third Sector Interface could support stronger partnership working with Local Authority and Third Sector colleagues in relation to the Fairer Futures Partnership (FFP) initiative.
This research was commissioned through Dundee’s involvement in the Fairer Futures Programme, delivered by Children in Scotland and GCVS, and funded by Scottish Government.
The researchers spoke with Third Sector and statutory partners. At this event, they will share the key findings and recommendations from the work. There will also be time to discuss what these mean for whole family support in relation to poverty and inequalities in Dundee.
The session will also include time to explain DVVA’s role as Dundee’s Third Sector Interface, how this sits alongside our wider commissioned services, and what this means in practice for our work with the local Third Sector.
Participants will have the opportunity to:
- Hear about the learning and recommendations from the Fairer Futures Partnership research
- Reflect on key findings and take part in table discussions
- Discuss what the findings mean for whole family support in Dundee
- Consider what could help improve Third Sector involvement in this work
- Explore how existing relationships, knowledge and activity can be used more effectively
- Look at practical ways to keep communication open between Dundee TSI and the local Third Sector
- Hear about examples of inclusive engagement practice that broaden participation and support involvement with communities and people with lived and living experience
- Contribute to the next steps
We hope you can join the conversation and help inform what happens next.
