Join fantasy folk bards Fae as Folk hosting very special guests in an enchanted grotto beyond the Veil, and discover a magical world of songs, stories and sumptuous fancy dress. Come join us in your best fantasy costumes and discover a little bit of the Faerie realm right here in Brighton.
Shell the Alternative Folkie - An original songwriter who draws on her love of the earth, life, and death for inspiration. With just a guitar and a drum, she writes songs with passionate pagan themes. Using dark gothic visuals whilst singing softly and belting out her vocals in equal measure to captivate her audience.
The Witchcraft and Vagrancy Act - The Witchcraft and Vagrancy Act blends elements of neo folk, gothic rock, and folk horror, mesmerically unearthing the sinister side of folk music. Expect tales of magic, murder, and misery, as TWAVA create their uniquely spooky interpretation of the folk canon.
And finally, your hosts! Draw back the Veil and peer into the realm of the Unseelie with dark folk bards, Fae as Folk. This all-female four-piece combines captivating folklore, ethereal harmonies and compelling instrumentation to take you on a journey of song and story.
